A vague statement like that has no right being in a script. How about: A Bandit slashes at her leg. Sintel twists in pain, roaring. In a flash, she lashes out - a flurry of precise, powerful blows, felling each Bandit in one continuous move. She spins to a stop, elegantly balanced. Their bodies lying at her feet. Obviously you need to write the action you have in mind, but 'Before long' ain't it. How about:
