To me it makes them not only appear realistic but also shows how damn dangerous a fight is. You don't have more than that split moment to decide how to act, and there's no turning back after you decided on your path of action. I miss that feeling in many fight movies, but this short clip shows it very nicely. And the final cinematic act got me instantly - thanks for my happy smile :) I love the speed of the fighting scenes!
