Yep, my name (Sjoerd van Kampen) is right. Thumbs up!
August 5th, 2010 at 15:00
Now I hope not everyone is going to say “yes, my name is right!”.
Just contact the shop email address if there’s an issue!

August 5th, 2010 at 15:24
Yeah, the 3rd blender movie with my name in the credits.
August 5th, 2010 at 15:26
I want my name to be bigger, and listed first, from now on I’ll call myself Aaaahhh Stephen ZZZZ incase it goes in reverse alpabetical order
August 5th, 2010 at 15:26
Perfect
August 5th, 2010 at 15:27
I was about to inform you, that you’ve got my name right – right until I saw Tons post. So I resisted.
August 5th, 2010 at 16:11
Bah, really annoying, I’d put my name down to sponsor the project, then had a few tight months so couldn’t help.
Didn’t know you were still taking names for the extra disk, guess i’ll purchase now rather than waiting til release!
August 5th, 2010 at 16:21
Hi!, my name isn’t in the list because i didn’t buy the movie, but what about if someone contribute to the movie doing something else? like animation, or modeling or etc? In my case, i did also with Jarred De Beer, the backpack of Sintel!
August 5th, 2010 at 16:26
The alphabet is complete
Impressive list
Lasse: Nice way to resist explicitly by doing it implicitly
August 5th, 2010 at 16:26
I don’t find my name
August 5th, 2010 at 17:05
ok, my name is in the list
August 5th, 2010 at 17:23
John: everyone who purchases the dvd before we 10th of sept (authoring deadlines) will be on a special dvd credit.
Pablo: you will of course get an artist contributor credit! This is for dvd sponsors.
Massimo: just contact shop at blender org.
August 5th, 2010 at 17:24
Will you publish a list of those that contributed during the “Modelling Sprint”?
August 5th, 2010 at 17:30
rocky: good plan, we should do for the entire credit scroll… but i’m afraid we get into fuzzy discussions… where does it stop?
August 5th, 2010 at 17:48
That’s a lot of credits! Too bad I didn’t make it. Bought the DVD way after the get-in-the-credits phase.
I bought it right before the pre-premiere.
August 5th, 2010 at 17:52
Good point, makes sense. Beware fuzzy discussions: There be dragons….
August 5th, 2010 at 19:51
I assume we’ll also get a checklist for the DVD credits, is it?
August 5th, 2010 at 20:14
Hm… no biggy, but my name isn’t on there, and I did pre-purchase a while ago
August 5th, 2010 at 20:17
Oops, never mind! Don’t mind me. Carry on!
August 5th, 2010 at 21:46
Yay! I’m in! Good Work!
August 5th, 2010 at 22:25
I had my sister buy the dvd for me (i paid) and her name is in the credits, would I be able to have my name in there instead of hers?
August 5th, 2010 at 23:33
You should add the link to
http://durian.blender.org/sponsors/
August 6th, 2010 at 00:42
This blender movie is brought to you by the entire English alphabet, and the numbers 3.1415, 2.718 and 1.618.
August 6th, 2010 at 00:46
Well, I’m a gold sponsor and haven’t seen my name anywhere yet, a bit disappointing…
August 6th, 2010 at 01:07
Yay!!! my name is there, its weird to see it there but its ok!, i hope that the music will be long enough
August 6th, 2010 at 01:17
Hi there!!!
Yes, my name is right in there.
[]‘s,
Still

August 6th, 2010 at 05:29
yes , it is there , thank you.
August 6th, 2010 at 08:38
Hey Ton,
Is there a list of the Big Buck Bunny pre-order credits?
Elephants Dream had a tiny list compared to the later projects, I’ve been wondering in how many of those people continued supporting the rest.
August 6th, 2010 at 10:02
Though I was supposed to be on the list as a spnsor/purchaser in advance but me probably misunderstanding something again as usual..
Can find me anyway…
Dunno really understand this world quite you’see….
August 6th, 2010 at 11:16
Carl-Fredrik Borg: gold sponsors get a special credit, on the gold sponsor list. Same for the main sponsors, and so on.
MagicMan: mail the shop to replace the name.
Sam: only people who paid for the DVD before we started get a film scroll credit.
Harald: you purchased it in last march, that means a DVD-only credit.
People who paid for a DVD before we even started are getting the best credit, that’s understandable right? That was a crucial investment to get our project started.
Of course we are equally happy with people who supported us during the project, we can’t do this without the ongoing support of the community. That’s why all pre-orders can get a special mention on the DVD.
August 6th, 2010 at 13:38
And everyone who buy the dvd after it’s released will get to the credits from the next movie?
vicious cycle ^^
just kidding :>
August 6th, 2010 at 13:55
I’m there
August 6th, 2010 at 13:59
Yeah. I think you should have a separate one for people who’s animation or model was used after the modeling and animation sprints.
August 6th, 2010 at 14:36
Yea it is there..
@Ton : Can we change or confirm our address (shipping) now ?
August 6th, 2010 at 17:35
Shashwat and everyone who has moved:
Please mail your new shipping address changes with your order number to shop at blender.org
I will make an address change and we will ship the Sintel DVD to your new address.
August 6th, 2010 at 20:52
Yup…me see mine
August 6th, 2010 at 23:52
Damned! The Store says I paid at 16. September. I’m sure I ordered it when credits were still available.
August 6th, 2010 at 23:54
Where do you live?
I might have to do with a difference in time zone.
August 7th, 2010 at 00:42
Awesome, my name is not not there!
Can’t wait for the release!
August 7th, 2010 at 02:00
Suggestion: Make the big list centered, I think it looks cooler. (Dunno if it is centered or not, hehe)
Awe, shame the Sprint participants will not be listed, even fuzzy
Well I never knew if my work on the sprint was ever used. (Probably not, hehe)
Cheers and thanks
August 7th, 2010 at 13:36
Just watch the market scene frame by frame and you’ll find out!
August 7th, 2010 at 16:28
Man is it me or is any one else excited about the next open movie even though Sintel hasn’t even been release yet? I’ve already got $50 set aside for the next open project already! Ton, you are the greatest!
August 7th, 2010 at 17:47
Oui, je suis Enthousiaste pour voir le DVD de sintel
August 7th, 2010 at 19:32
hmmm, i am sorry for the the language, in english :
“Yes, I am Enthusiastic to see the DVD of sintel”
August 7th, 2010 at 23:48
can’t find my name either.
August 8th, 2010 at 12:44
@Andre
Yeah me too, I’ll definitely support the next open movie, which should be code-named Mango I guess.
This time mixing real and CG characters would be fantastic.
But we’ll have to wait a year or two…
August 8th, 2010 at 14:31
I do not generally reply to blogposts but I will in this case. Seriously a big thumbs up for this one!
August 9th, 2010 at 09:56
No prob Ton, me not being on the list
Just keep up the good work and let me know when you will be starting on the sequence….
August 9th, 2010 at 22:18
@Piiichan
Sounds good to me, gives me enough time to maybe learn 3d well enough to participate. Although the more I get into Blender and 3D the more it seems that I really don’t know anything. Kinda weird.
August 10th, 2010 at 02:07
folks were fighting over this over at the loots community forum. it was beginning to develop into a messy discussion.
August 10th, 2010 at 11:24

This is one technology that I would love to be able to use for myself. It’s definitely a cut above the rest and I can’t wait until my provider has it. Your insight was what I needed. Thanks
