Whoa awesome hand stand! I love these interviews, great stuff!
The day Durian comes in the mail is the day I call in sick to work for a couple of days- yeee-ha!
April 11th, 2010 at 19:43

April 11th, 2010 at 19:53

April 11th, 2010 at 19:55
This is way too cute XD

Aw. India has grown up a lot since Peach. She kinda looks what my 2nd cousin (one of my bffs) looked like at a few years ago.
Ben’s up to mischief…. hahaha We should have known.
April 11th, 2010 at 20:54
hey ton. are you going to make Sintel’s trailer?
April 11th, 2010 at 21:06
I really really love this shot- its so cute.
More of this, please
esp. there are these nice views from inside, like at 3:10, and (the best thing): 5:38ff, at 7:00, and (the other best thing) 12:50.
I’ve been watching that small bite over and over, stopping at different frames. You can see a spot of the Dragon, of Sintel, you see a spot in a Forest – and at least, you don’t really know anything, but go a new glimpse…
April 11th, 2010 at 21:34
Very coincidental, that empty battery, isn’t it?
And Ton is a smart man, knows exactly how to get things done!
April 11th, 2010 at 21:48
awesome!
hey new video!: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRSZ4xydgww&feature=channel

She simply ROCKS!
No doubt she’ll be the next CNN reporter, she’s got REAL talent!
Nice, well done!
April 11th, 2010 at 23:23
MELBOURNE SUCKS?~!
Man Ton, there goes your invite.

I love the Blender Institute. They show so much but still manage to conceal a lot of information.
April 12th, 2010 at 00:12
I love the maya book being used as a monitor booster. Classic
April 12th, 2010 at 00:31
@vykelt
Hahaha! Well picked up! =D
April 12th, 2010 at 02:05
Awesome look into the institute! And 11 1/2 minutes!!!
April 12th, 2010 at 02:30
hey Pablo, here we call the drink “Chimarrão”
April 12th, 2010 at 02:37
Socceroos: I saw it too!
@Glenn:
Dutchmen are very straightforward; If Melbourne is too hot, it sucks!
April 12th, 2010 at 05:01
Yeah, like Ton can do nothing…..I imagine doing nothing would make him grumpy.
April 12th, 2010 at 05:12
this was pretty cool…Durian videos are awesome
wow, 11mins? and here i was, expecting a 6-8min movie, like Colin had said a few months back…well, cool!
lol, the empty battery chose a rather inconvenient time to go empty…
and then it cuts back JUST as Colin finishes…
awesome hand-stand too
@RedJay – Hi!
April 12th, 2010 at 06:21
Good handstand
April 12th, 2010 at 08:54
Awesome!
Several LOLs. I love Ton’s explanation of how a movie gets made: “You put 9 people in a room and 6 months later you have a movie.”
Great stuff.
April 12th, 2010 at 10:39
Very nice video indeed. The battery is just awesome!
Ton is the best LOL
April 12th, 2010 at 17:52
Am I missing something here… 11 and a half minutes?!!!
Last I heard it was going to be 8!
Blendiac is very happy.
April 12th, 2010 at 17:58
Maybe it has very long end credits?
Could be the catch, as ”If it sounds too good to be true…”
April 12th, 2010 at 18:55
@Meshweaver hi! You seem to find me everywhere….
I forgot, I wish I could still do a handstand like that. Last time I could, I didn’t use a computer…. I think you can draw the connection.
April 12th, 2010 at 21:40
Cool stuff. Great interviewer.
April 13th, 2010 at 11:06
haha great interview!
but damn how do you guys manage to stay alive so long in Amsterdam. I went there last summer for a day and I nearly got myself killed in a car accident about 5 times :O you should come to Rotterdam =D it’s only a 20 minutes ride for me
April 13th, 2010 at 19:02
The first time I was in Amsterdam I got nearly run over by a tram, so you’re not the only.
How they stay alive?
Quite simple: The more nerd you are, the less you come outdoors.
As simple as that!
April 14th, 2010 at 00:00
I only had to watch out for crazy bicyclists when I was there
April 14th, 2010 at 01:04
And now Katie Melua, performing: ”Too many bicycles in Amsterdam”
April 15th, 2010 at 00:34
My friends and I liked a lot the book that you use to support your monitor on the first interview
April 16th, 2010 at 05:35
I love Ton’s explanation!!
LOL
And the Maya book!! Let me tell you I have some 3dmax books somewhere in my room… just getting dusty
LOL
Did you see Colin’s chair? Does Colin have the best chair in the institute? LOL
April 20th, 2010 at 01:21
I think Ton sold me on becoming a producer.
I also got very excited when Colin mentioned Thai food. We got to enjoy Thai food with Colin, Lee, and Nathan when we visited on our honeymoon. Good memories. I can’t wait to see the finished project.
