Movie posters printed & for sale

on October 14th, 2010, by Ton

Sintel PosterAbout 250 Sintel posters have been delivered to our office now. They are beautiful quality offset-printed,  in original movie poster size: 27 by 40 inches (approx. 70 x 100 cm). Deserves to get a decent spotlight on your wall!

Posters will be sent in a strong cardboard shipping tube. Due to the non-standard size, shipping costs are relatively high though. This is why we will only charge shipping costs once, also when you order more posters.

More information here in the Blender Store!

Any chance we could theoretically pick it up somewhere? Not sure yet whether I want to buy one, just wondering that it would be non sense to send it from amsterdam if I can go to amsterdam and back for less than the shipping costs.

  2. Ton Says:

You can get them at the Blender Conference, without shipping costs and taxfree!
If you really want to save 9.50 euro to travel to our studio… well, go ahead. Mail me in advance though to check if there’s someone here. (ton at blender org).

  3. J. Says:

    DING DONG, POSTER! :P

Don’t know if I want one, I’ll see at the conference. :P

  4. Greenboy Says:

    Got mine :)

  5. Simon Says:

My girlfriend would probably not want me to buy one =/ The movie made her sad, had to change my computer’s wallpaper.

  6. Sympodius Says:

You know, I’d be willing to pay more if the poster was signed by Ton. Any chance of that?

  7. Lasphere Says:

haha yearh, I would properly be a lot more interested if signed posters were available. :P

  8. J. Says:

I would say: Come to the conference! :P

  9. Sympodius Says:

@J. – Not sure I’d be willing to pay THAT much more to get it signed ;)

  10. J. Says:

I understand, but Ton said recently he made it a habit only to sign things when meeting somebody in person. (but I think he’d better set this aside when it comes down to posters, as they’re really a collector’s item you want to show in your room)
But hey, that’s my opinion, but even if you only sell one poster more by signing it it’s already worth the effort, is it? ;)

  11. Ton Says:

Yes, I only sign when we meet in person. Easier for me, more valuable for you! :)

  12. Sympodius Says:

    Ah well. Maybe someday :)
