Look, we even received a Laurel! :)

The cinema where Sintel screens has digital 4k projection, I’m working with them getting this formatted right and delivered. Would be a real world premiere then too.

    Nice work. Still a few people following this blog. Do you know yet if you are going to post the whole production online, like with BBB?

    Yup, I’m also curious about the online release of the other files like with BBB. Any news Ton?

    Side note: I see snippets of BBB on the way to work each morning now, playing on all the TV’s at a flashy store in town the bus goes past. :)

    The 4K DCP of Sintel will be arriving in Seattle by 3:00 pm local time. :) I’ve been in contact with Dan at SIFF to coordinate the process of delivering the DCP. We’ll know later today if things went smoothly.

    We had some technical issues to work on with the media block at the SIFF venue, but Sony pitched in and got everything worked out for the audience to see Sintel at 4K! They had 35mm prints as a backup in case the media block continued to have issues, so either way the audience would have seen a great presentation.

    If anyone was in attendance and has thoughts on seeing Sintel at 4K, please post about your experience.
